Set a monthly spend limit, add your GSTIN for a GST invoice, and pay monthly DployHub invoices online with cards, UPI or netbanking through Razorpay.

Everything about paying for DployHub lives on the Billing page: your month-to-date spend, a forecast for the month, the cost of each app, your invoices, and billing settings such as a spend limit and your GSTIN.

Monthly invoices

You get one invoice per month. It has a line for each app environment you ran, showing its size and the hours it ran, for example:

text
shop — live · 1 vCPU · 1 GB RAM · 10 GB storage 730 hours ₹510.00
blog — live · 0.25 vCPU · 0.25 GB RAM · 1 GB storage 730 hours ₹118.50
Subtotal ₹628.50
GST 18% ₹113.13
Total ₹741.63

You get an "Invoice issued" alert when it is ready. See How billing works for how each line is calculated.

Pay an invoice

  1. 1

    Open Billing

Go to Billing and find the invoice in the invoices list.

  2. 2

    Click Pay

Payment runs through Razorpay. You can pay with a card, UPI or netbanking.

  3. 3

    Confirmation

The invoice is marked paid and you get a "Payment received" alert. If the payment does not go through, you get a "Payment failed" alert and can try again.

Get a GST invoice

If your business is GST-registered, add your GSTIN and a billing email in the billing settings on the Billing page. Invoices then carry your GSTIN so you can claim input tax credit. Add these before the invoice is issued so they appear on it.

Set a monthly spend limit

A spend limit protects you from surprises. Set an amount in billing settings. When a new change would take your monthly spend over the limit, such as creating another app or increasing resources, the change is held back and you get a "Spend limit reached" alert. Your existing apps keep running.

For example, with a limit of ₹1,000 and one app at ₹510 per month, scaling a second app to 1 vCPU, 1 GB, 10 GB (another ₹510) would bring the forecast to ₹1,020, so the change is held back. Raise the limit or choose a smaller size to go ahead.

Keep costs down

  • Stop live environments you do not need. Stopped hours are not billed.
  • Use staging, which is free, for testing instead of a second paid app.
  • Check the Metrics tab and size resources to what your app actually uses. See Choose resources.

For billing questions or a payment problem, raise a ticket in the Billing category.
