Terms of Service

Last updated: 24 August 2026

1. Scope

These terms cover engagements for the services listed on dployhub.com — CI/CD pipeline setup, Kubernetes management, cloud infrastructure, Docker containerisation, fully managed hosting, and web/app development — and use of the customer portal (/portal). Specific project scope, pricing, and deliverables for a given engagement are agreed separately in writing (a proposal, statement of work, or signed quote) and take precedence over anything general stated here.

2. Engagements

Project-based engagements (e.g. CI/CD setup, a Docker migration) are scoped and quoted before work begins. Ongoing engagements (managed hosting, DevOps retainers) run monthly and continue until either party gives notice per the agreed termination period in that engagement's contract.

3. Access & credentials

Where an engagement requires access to your infrastructure (servers, cloud accounts, repositories), you grant that access for the duration of the engagement. Credentials are handled per the security practices described in our service pages — least-privilege where possible, encrypted at rest, revoked on request or at engagement end.

4. Payment

Pricing for a given engagement is as quoted at the time of agreement. Project work is typically invoiced per the milestones agreed in the proposal; managed retainers are billed monthly in advance. Late payment may result in a pause of active work or managed services until the account is current.

5. What we're responsible for

We're responsible for delivering the work as scoped, and — for managed-hosting/DevOps retainer clients — for the uptime and operational commitments stated in that engagement's contract. We are not responsible for outages or data loss caused by factors outside the agreed scope: third-party provider outages, a client team member making changes outside the agreed change process, or force majeure events.

6. Intellectual property

Code, configuration, and infrastructure-as-code written for you as part of a paid engagement belongs to you on full payment, except for any pre-existing tooling, scripts, or frameworks we bring to the engagement that we've built independently — those remain ours, and you receive a licence to use them as part of the delivered work.

7. HostSync

HostSync is offered under its own pricing and engagement terms (see hostsync.in) — as a commission-based growth partnership, a one-time setup and consulting project, or a standalone PMS subscription, depending on what you agree with HostSync directly. HostSync's own terms, where they differ from these, govern its use.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate an ongoing engagement per the notice period in that engagement's contract. On termination, we'll hand over access, documentation, and any runbooks for infrastructure we've been managing, so a transition to another provider (or in-house) isn't blocked on us.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from an engagement will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Assam, India, unless otherwise agreed in a specific engagement's contract.
